International Society for the Advanced Study of Spacetime



The Society will be organizing biennial conferences at which the progress in the research on the ontology and nature of spacetime will be reported.

Past Conferences:

The Third International Conference on the Nature and Ontology of Spacetime was held at Concordia University on June 13-15, 2008. It commemorated the one hundredth anniversary of Minkowski's talk "Space and Time" given on September 21, 1908.

The Second International Conference on the Ontology of Spacetime was held at Concordia University, Montreal, on June 9-11, 2006.

The First International Conference on the Ontology of Spacetime was held at Concordia University, Montreal, on May 11-14, 2004.
